Pictavia will missed, staff and exhibits were excellent, hopefully Angus council will create an improved Pictavian website to keep Pictish history followers updated.

We'd hoped that an initial visit to Pictavia would give us some background information before starting on an exploration of Pictish stones. We were given some ideas on what we should be looking ot for and the very good resin replicas of stones pointed out the items which we shouldn't miss on our wanderings. But a lot of the background... Not much to see this venue is poor compared with other venues in the area, even went here with a group of school children and they were disappointed too. Not worth the entrance fee.

That is a great thing, local kids should have an appreciation of their wonderful history, but I wish they were more upfront about the... More

Popped into the Visitor centre on a Sunday and were very impressed with the layout and facilities. We will definitely be taking friends and family there over the coming years.

Very nice indeed. I had great fun discovering more about the old scotland, the picts, the connection between past and present. There is also a little section with musical instrument and recreation of picts' music. Amazing! It's an enjoyable day out with or without children, it's really a place for everyone and the guides will be more than happy to... More
