We got a private tour and it was amazing- short and very informational. We met the mayor of the town and walked inside the windmill - all the way to the top to see how the grain was milled! The machinery is fascinating because it is all original! Imagine seeing a working windmill that was constructed in the 16th century. Now imagine Cervantes writing Quixote's stops through these huge "giants". It is not so well known but I think it is a classic piece for everyone that has read and heard about Don Quixote de la Mancha!

The city of Campo de Criptana has honored one of their own and a world legend, Miss Sara Montiel, the Queen of the couples. Miss Montiel personified all that is beautiful in this land. From a humble background she rosed to stardom very early in her life and went on to have a very successful career. She has donated all of the photographs and painting to this small and beautiful museum, is worth every penny to see it!! These photographs are exclusively the property of the Museum and can't be used or exploited commercially.
