We got a private tour and it was amazing- short and very informational. We met the mayor of the town and walked inside the windmill - all the way to the top to see how the grain was milled! The machinery is fascinating because it is all original! Imagine seeing a working windmill that was constructed in the 16th century. Now imagine Cervantes writing Quixote's stops through these huge "giants". It is not so well known but I think it is a classic piece for everyone that has read and heard about Don Quixote de la Mancha!…

The city of Campo de Criptana has honored one of their own and a world legend, Miss Sara Montiel, the Queen of the couples. Miss Montiel personified all that is beautiful in this land. From a humble background she rosed to stardom very early in her life and went on to have a very successful career. She has donated all of the photographs and painting to this small and beautiful museum, is worth every penny to see it!!
