We enjoyed the castle so much we joined English Heritage 👍🏼. A stunning castle, a big slide for children from the castle walls! We'll be coming back with our 6yr old in the holidays!

Lovely day out for the kids, beautiful castle remains and lots to do locally. Would recommend going on a warmer day as its an mainly outdoor kind of thing, although there is a small museum inside. Lovely place, and interesting for all!
