At the moment with good weather conditions, Pantai Pasir Putih is very comfortable to swim or snorkel during the day and enjoy the sunset in the evening. Cleanliness within the Nature Reserve should be maintained. In the region should be provided adequate bins. Awareness tourists to dispose of waste in place still to be repaired. For example, White Sand Beach... More

After paying a rip off £12 each the £3 price of a guide was a bargain. Without him we might have missed the bats and porcupines in the walk through the cave to the other side of the isthmus. He was full of useful info. You wont do the caves without him and his torches.

My girlfriend and I went with the Tourguide of our guesthouse (Mango guesthouse). Toto, the guide, told us everything about the wildlife, the plants and showed us an amazing spot with a natural infinity pool looking out over the cliffs. He took us along a less official path, so I would advice trying to get him to guide you by... More

Many people here confuse the national park with the green valley and/or green canyon. So be careful when you read all the raving reviews. The park is at the end of the island, and the locals don't really advertise for it that much. The entrance fee is 200.000 and seems decent enough. Walking through the forest, you can smell and... We hiked through the National Park with 5 People and a Guide from one of the Homestays. It is really a wild walk, because the track is not like a stomped road but a track over trees and stones and through small rivers. You will get your shoes wet so be sure to get the right shoes (no flip flops,...)... More

I struggled a bit with the information on TA on Pangandaran. I will share my experience after visiting a few days. It should be noted that there is a difference between the Pangandaran national park, the Green Canyon and the Green Valley. Most of the reviews and pics here are from the latter two and not the NP. The national... More

When you are near Pangadaran, this is a must see. First you go with a boat up the river. This is beautiful already. At the beginning of the canyon you have to put on a life jacket and from there you can swim through the canyon. The view is really amazing. After a while it becomes a bit hard to... More
