At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

You must visit this place if you like a 2 miles challenging walk/climb in the shade of trees and mountains. The humidity is high, it is warm, but a refreshing dive into the cool water is the reward when you reach the waterfalles.

A very long walk to a small waterfall / natural spring. I am told that it is much better in winter but it is closed then so my advice is to give it a miss and go to the sunset at Serenity resort.

The walk to the waterfall from Nidri is lovely, through olive and lemon groves and pretty houses en route. Very good taverna as you approach the waterfalls.

I visited on one of the hottest days of the year. I was sure the walk would be too much for me but it was fine. We drove to the car park that is very shady and walked from there. It's a gentle walk, very...More

This review is based on the time of year and its subsequent effect on the waterfall. We were there this week (early July) and it has obviously been a very dry summer so far. Because of this there where no huge cascades of water or...More
