As you arrive, the first thing that greets you is the smell of cocoa... and it just goes up from there! The tour starts very cleverly through a series of rooms where the history of the factory is explained in a way that makes it interesting to kids which leads up to the highlight - the eat as much as... The maison cailler is near the French side of Switzerland. It is a great factory with very interesting history of the art of making chocolate. Kids loved it. Lots of samples. I thought the ticket was low cost 12 per adults, children free. The factory is located in beautiful historic town.

We were there with two kids - 11 and 8 years old. Very well managed. Small groups timed with screens that announce the group's turn. Very well executed tour- high quality . Nice treasure hunt activity . A 45 mm tour plus 30 minutes wait plus 15 mn wait for tickets (which I guess can be saved if you pre... More

If you love chocolate stop reading and go now!! The only thing is go early as this is a highly touristy attraction so lots of people. Great service and of course very educational of the history of chocolate and Switzerland. Learned lots and ate lots too.

We are a couple who absolutely love chocolate - so we were really looking forward to walking around this factory and see it being made whilst getting to sample plenty! This is not what happens. Firstly, we visited on Easter Saturday (probably not my best idea) using the train from Montreux to Montbovon, Montbovon to Broc-Fabrique. It took about an... More

great place to visit but make sure you come early and if you have younger kids, I would advise against this place as its a walk around and you'd have to hear the history and kids have to be quiet, otherwise its great

We toured the Cailler Chocolate Factory yesterday. It is in a beautiful setting and the tour was not what I was expecting. Much better than I thought it would be. It began with us moving from room to room with a voice over detailing the history of chocolate. It was great and informative and suitable for kids and adults. We... More

We had such a great time. Although we did regret wearing jackets inside because it was rather warm. There were lockers I. The front to store your items but we didn't have enough time to go get one. The tour was pretty fun and informative. They gave us an audio guide which was great. When you were done in one... More

Lucky you are when the cue of the Museum is less that two hours to visit it. So you can have a sweet snack and tons of sugar. The chocolate is superb and cheaper than in France !!!.
