After visiting both Ajanta and Ellora in 2011 I wasn't sure I'd think much of these temples but I loved visiting them. Their outlook and style is so different to the others I've visited before and I'm so glad we visited them.

Best route would be Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar-Raichur-Lingsugur-Badami (430 kms/8.5 hrs by car)
