We walked the length of the gorge which had a long, sometimes steep and often rocky/uneven paths to end up at a picturesque bay. The gorge was pretty with autumn leaves and some waterfalls. We walked 11.2 klm in total

The views here are stunning. The turquoise water melds into the blue for a truly beautiful sight. It's a great spot for a "picnic".

We enjoyed this walk several times and very much like the constant flow of water down the gorge and going for a dip (being winter swimmers as well) in one of the pools where it is possible.

We were lucky to join an organised walk down the gorge led by Mihaelis and Vassili. It is beautiful walking down through the trees and seeing goats and streams and flowers. There is quite along walk to the sea when you have descended

Nice trekking experience in this shadowy, water running and lush canyon which leads to the opposite side of the island, the Aegean Sea and a spectacular seaside.

We were here towards the end of November when the weather is still pleasant but there are hardly any tourists in the area. It was great to explore this desolate area with small villages scattered around, and have the beaches within the coves all to...More
