The Kalika mata temple at the top.of Pavagarh hills is one of the prominent religious places in Gujrat. It is located about 45 km from Vadodara and is well connected by buses. One can either walk or use rope way to reach the temple. Worth a visit for a religious seeker.

Pavagadh is basically a Goddess temple right up on the hills near Baroda ( approx 40 kms). Best time is rainy season when you can see beautiful waterfalls springing everywhere . And the greenery of course . There is a ropeway too which is quite convenient. Otherwise one can trek up there .

Dating from the times of nearly one thousand years ago, Kalika Mata temple is the oldest in the area. There is nothing surprising in the fact that it is the largest center of pilgrimage here. Up to the rocky top of the hill on which it stands, you can walk from its bottom, but it is said, takes three hours. Most... More

Kalika Mata Temple is located on the Pavagadh hill and it can be accessed via a ropeway followed by roughly 100 steps. The view from the temple is magnificent. A must visit site in Pavagadh.

Pavagadh hill is a holy place on the outskirts of Vadodara. You can either hike the hill or go to the top through a ropeway. Both experiences are fun! On the hill top, there is a temple of Goddess Kakika. This temple is considered to be one of the prime holy places in the state of Gujarat
