Start with an optional mudslide and a zodiac ride along the river and past rocky shoals. Then the tide comes in and the seascape changes quickly! Blast through the waves and run against the tide. This is very fun but you get wet and it is a rough ride at times. Our driver was a local guy and kept it... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the run through the rapids and eddies created by the tide filling the bay. Robin our boat driver/guide was delightful and very informative. Be warned, though, that you WILL get soaked with red soil infused water that tastes terrible and stains clothes. Wear old stuff. Take advantage of the yellow cover up that makes you look like a... I did this with my two boys, ages 9 and 11. We were there on one of the medium-tide days. I was a little nervous about my 9 year old but he did fine. I didn't take my 6 year old and I am glad. It sounds like people sometimes fall out of the boats and nobody gets hurt, but... More

You will get wet, you will be drenched. We've done a lot of white water river rafting in Utah but this was so different from what we have ever experienced before. A fun, huge Rapids as we went in full moon tides. The guides and equipment are good and experienced. We are in our upper 60's and enjoyed every minute.... More

We went out this morning and had an amazing adventure!! Riding the white water created by the tidal bore!! It really is a Canadian adventure you can't miss!! What an experience with bald eagles flying overhead!! This is the only company that supplies full floatation suits and boots!! It was 7 degrees this morning and we were warm even though... More

It was very early in the year. May. We had a great time. We did get a little cold after a while but all in all it was a fun trip.

Angus took us out for three hours of pure fun. The YouTube videos look fairly intense, but when you're out there, you feel very very safe with the guides. The River Runners staff know their river, and you'll feel secure in their hands.

So my friend and I went tidal bore rafting yesterday in Maitland, Nova Scotia. This is right in the very end of the Bay of Fundy, known for having the highest tides in the world. I'm pretty sure it's a function of the shape of the land and the influx of part of the Gulf Stream that does it. They... More

We spent a month on Nova Scotia and did almost everything a visitor can do there, and this ends up in our top three adventures! Lots of rafting companies offer trips in this area, but we picked River Runners for their experience and attention to safety. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny, and every minute of the trip was exciting.... More
