This is a great store to get quality Tahitian Pearls, at a reasonable cost, with certificate of authenticity. You can take the tour of the farm, if you haven't seen it before. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They will come & pick you up from your hotel & bring you back at no cost. Definitely recommend, if your... More

It is a good activation in Rangiroa. They are picking you up from where you stay and 2 hours or more you visit pearl farm. The visit starts with a good information or lesson about pearl and end at he pearl shop :) After learning how important to get one pearl you would like to buy it. We like too much

Dropped in here for a tour and a lesson on Black Pearl farming. Informative and the opportunity to buy a couple of pieces direct from the farm was not missed. I feel that the pricing was marginally better than the retail outlets we visited across the country.

This was an unplanned visit and worth the time if you are in the vicinity. Have dropped into a number of pearl shops during our time in French Polynesia. Prices seem high however there were a lot of loose pearl options available. The styling on finished pieces was not as contemporary as could be and limits appeal. Lots of affordable... More

The guided tour of the farm is very informative and you will learn the whole process of pearls culture. Veronica is friendly and very knowledgeable. The shop is also well run with a nice variety of pearls to buy for all budgets.

I would have given the Pearl farm a rave review both for the informative well run tour and the attentive service and the beautiful pearls for sale. I was so excited that I bought both earrings and a single pearl necklace. Unfortunately, after shopping around in Papeete and Moorea, I feel the quality of the workmanship and the fittings was... Hello Katrina I've just red your comment on trip advisor. I can understand that you enjoy the guided tour and i thank you for that. I am very sorry that your purchase had disapointed you and i would like to make the best that we can to fix it. As we buy most of our setting in Papeete, we always... More

If you ever wanted to know how oysters make pearls then you should visit Gauguin's Pearl Farm. We very much enjoyed the tour. The lady had an excellent English and the tour was very informative. After the tour you can have a look at the shop and buy some nice jewelry.

Great shop, great learning and seeing how the process is of making and growing pearls. We bought 4 pearls here and were really happy with the price and quality of them.

This was our first trip to a pearl farm and we were amazed by the process and time required to farm one pearl. After learning the process we quickly understood why pearls are so expensive and we really learned to value the beautiful jewel. Later, aboard the Paul Gauguin cruise, a staff mentioned she couldn't understand how one could come... More

I really liked learning how black pearls are cultivated. I never knew it took so much work and how long it takes. I liked how they taught the different quality, size , ect. I also heard that if you wanted to purchase some black pearls that this was suppose to be the best spot to do it....reasonable prices!!!
