The drive to these hot springs is quite long, and the terrain when we visited was not easy, because they were making the main road, before you take the road over the mountains to reach the hot springs. But the area is unique - so beautiful and serene

I recently had the privilege of trekking to the summit of Margherita Peak and snowboarding Mt. Stanley via the assistance of Rwenzori Trekking Services (RTS). John Hunwick (the RTS owner) and his team of guides and porters are amazing. All aspects of the trip from the ground transportation to the National Park, hut accommodations, meals, to the quality and professionalism... More

I had one of the best hikes of my life with these guys. The Rwenzori Mountains are just incredible and not to be missed. Expensive yes, but it is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I did a four-day hike and it was not too difficult, but some of the higher peaks are tricky by the sounds of it! Rwenzori Trekking... More

I had the pleasure to make a fantastic trek with Rwenzori Trekking Services to climb the Margherita peak in last February. It was a Real challenge and we had a very good organisation and support from this company. The guides were incredible and very good in all the situations ( in the jungle, on the glaciers ...). A fantastic that... More

We did the 3-day trek and had a very positive experience. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and well-trained, although it was a bit too clear that they were bored with our low-altitude endeavors. Even so, we made it up to 3500 meters/11,500 feet and were treated to amazing views, monkey/chameleon sightings, otherworldly wildlife, and incredible meals despite being miles... More

Rwenzori is probably the most scenic mountain in Africa. I did 7 days hike on the Central Circuit (end of January 2017), and the views and the beauty of the mountain go well beyond what you can see on the more popular Kili and Mt Kenya. The hike is quite tough because of the daily rain, the high altitude, the... More

This trek requires one to be physically fit and in good health to hike this Mountain. Its one of the hardest mountain to hike in Africa because its rainy and muddy most of the time making the hike difficult at times.
