It is located 8km from srisailam.there is no crowd to see the god.it is the oldest temple i have ever seen.i enjoyed so much in that temple.everyone go that oldest temple.

It is a temple with shikara darshan, Belief here is we can see main mallikarjuna temple shikharam from here,to get moksha.good temple.It comes in sight seeing places of srisailam. queue will be there ,view point is there .worth visiting.

Shikaresvara Temple is not maintained although it is very famous. I went in evening and even no light was in premises and very crowded.

We can see the beautiful Nallamala forest view from this place. If we see the Srisailam shikaram from this place we wont get next birth.

Jawaharlal Nehru find the Srisailam temple peak high from this shikareswar temple, must visit place. Don't forget or neglect, its not a side way to visit, its only on the way to Srisailam.
