It is primarily known as the habitat of great Indian bustard. Best place to visit during monsoon. You need permission to visit restricted area.

Nice place to spend with families during holydays. There we can see different types of birds. We can see black bucks there.

It gives a home for endangered species actually and it experiences hot and humid summers with the average temperature ranging from lowest to highest.Try to visit it in between October to February is the best weather for visiting Rollapadu sanctuary.

Rollapadu wild life sanctuary is one of the largest and most attractive wild life sanctuaries in Andhra Pradesh. Location of this forest is just 60 kilometers away from Kurnool district headquarters. A must visit place for wildlife Lovers.The sanctuary hosts the endangered species called Great Indian Bustard,mainly found in grassy lands.One can spot black bucks during Sunny days,So best time to visit will be during September till June,Rollapadu wild life sanctuary also hosts black bucks,wild boars,Jackals,Russels...More

It was a nice visit. The forest guest houses were very comfortable. Food provided like typical village homely food. However, the forest department should improve vigil as many intruders were seen disturbing the green by spreading plastics and unhygienic food left outs.
