This is the place requires high stamina if u want trekking experience.. it takes alomost 8km to reach the top of the mountain called kodachadri gudda.. or you can go by local jeep service but its bit costlier becoz the there is a mud road...More

Kodachadri is very good nature place. Its very good for Tracking. July to november Best time to see this place need with some safety because of heavy Rain. Tracking with the friends is an very good experience and memorable.

Its a lovely mountain range and on the way to Kollur (around 35 kmts ) from Shivamoga. Its quite an easy trek .You can also plan to hire a Jeep from Shivamoga aswell .Very Good place for photography as Kodachadri is known for its cloud...More

You can go by Bike. I have not trekked in a bike but i have seen and also know few friends who have trekked in a bike. My friends had fallen for two times while driving to the top, so be careful and Plan accordingly. Have a... More

It might be very tedious to make it a one day event as you might have to travel via Shimoga then via Nagara then there is a point called Hidlumane falls from where you have to start your trek.
