Weekend Getaway

Good place to hangout especially if you love adventure sports and outdoors photography. If you are in luck can observe Eagle's gliding free for long time below your level.

We availed of the services of a guide to show us the short track route, he regaled us with a lot of local stories and showed us the rocks that have a deposit of mica and hence the shiny surfaces. An average person who has no trekking experience can also easily do a round walk around this place and around... More

One of the few beautiful places in Mukteswar. On your way to Mukteswar temple, this place is present. It provides a panoramic view of the underlined valley. The view is mesmerizing. Also, there is section where you can sit and enjoy the great environment.

The trek upto the view point is a slightly difficult and not suitable for elderly or small kids. The view from the top is good and on a clear day you can see snow clad peaks of Nanda devi. Sadly there was a lot of haze when we visited. We did a local guide who took INR 150 and explained... More

Muktheswar has limited places to visit or for leisure activities as compared to other places. This place is a small trek of about 2-2.5 km. There is a big hole in a rock which is being used by childless mothers to conceive & have a great significance on the day of Mahashivratri. Or you can just stare nature's beauty &... More

This place has very good natural view of the valley. You need to walk to this place as it's bit far from the road and vehicle will not go till this place. Always good to trek some distance to get the feel of the place.

We visited Chauli ki Jali on 15 April, 2017. It is having a devi temple, a very nice view of himalayan mountains. Nice scenic beauty. A lot of activities are also there like Ziplining, Rapelling, Rock Climbing etc. Very interesting to do. Fun for kids and adults.

This is the only tourist place in Mukteshwar. The whole valley is visible from here. Once you reach here, you can take a guide who will take you to 'chauli ki jali' from the different track and will tell some facts about trees, then will take you to mukteshwar temple.
