It is nice panoramic way to the top of Loser. In Aug 2014 was the discounted cost (Salzkammergut Erlebnis-Card) 14 EUR. The way is very secure and not a big climb for your car. There are several parking places (trailhead to Sisi Klettersteig, Lose Huette, Loser top trials). On the top are also easy walks suitable for families and older... More

no matter if going up or coming down, the views to the styrian 'Salzkammergut' are exceptional all around. take a bit of extra time to walk around, visit some of the restaurants on the way or even spot a capricorn or chamois once in a while.

If you are looking for a 2 hours track (do not go with small kids or seniors) it´s a nice place to go. Even you can go around the lake, which is not to difficult. We also enjoyed the restaurant on the hill. Suprisingly very good food in there!!

First if you own Schladming-Dachstein Summercard you will pay 12€ instead of 15€ for driving the road. This discount you will only get if you pay at the counter while driving up. They have also installed machines further up on the way where you can pay only while driving down and these machines do not accept any discount offering card,... More

We had a beautiful view of the Dachstein from the Loser Alm. We climbed the Loser, unfortunately a thunderstorm approached so the Dachstein was hidden in the clouds.

Great views from the summit. Was well worth the detour. The drive up is windy and not for the faint hearted but quite safe. Restaurant not really great - but good for a drink.

We enjoyed the drive up and down, as well as hiking next to cows with bells and having a nice cold beer at the little restaurant. Views are unbelievable on a clear day.

the panorama road leading to the Loser is winding and long but once you get to above 1000 metres you start seeing views that are getting more impressive as you continue climbing up to the top, about 1600 metres, where there is a nice place to have food and drinks while watching the beauty of nature. it is not commonly... No queues at the lifts. Wide blue and red slopes on one side, and more challenging ones on the other. Incredible panorama! Friendly hütte-s. Info on ski slopes is correct and easily understandable.
