We spent a couple of hours here. The GPS doesnt show up the place well and we reached almost beyond the visiting hours after going around the place for a while. Thankfully they accommodated us - and we had a great time. It was quite hot in the sun around 4pm and most of the animals were in the shade.... More

We spent about an hour here. Admittedly we did not eat anything (although the other people's for looked good) The guided tour by Marinus was very interesting and he was happy to take his time and answer all our questions. The animals all looked healthy and well managed. The highlight for us was interacting with the cheetahs. I would have... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour here, we were given a close insight into this very worthwhile cheetah sanctuary by a very informative guide, they are doing a fantastic job with the animals here. We were even allowed into one of the enclosures to stroke a male cheetah, a wonderful, unforgettable experience. Thank you.

Very nice. Nice animals in a good environment. Not a zoo but a good breeding project. Many animals and a good restaurant.

I read several of the negative reviews before visiting, so arrived very skeptical. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained a number of other animals in enclosures were also on the property, either as rescues, or working with another big cat conservancy program. I was relieved that this was no zoo. Having been to several zoos and also wild life... More

We stopped off at Daniell Cheetah project on our way home on the 6th Jan! The tours are a hour long and very informative, the guides are friendly and know a great deal about the animals! A definite must if you're a cat lover, my youngest son loves the lion guard cartoon so you can imagine when he saw mufasa😂... More

We got there in the afternoon so it was very hot and there was no reason to do the tour because the cheetahs would be hiding and captive in cages. Not sure about the goal regarding conservation and preservation of cheetahs. The animals are not in a natural environment. It is more of a zoo set up. Not sure if... More

Visited the project with our 6 and 2 year old. The guide was very knowledgable, and was excellent with our 6 year old who had a million questions. It was definitely worth every cent, and the food at the coffee shop was good value for money. I will definitely recommend a visit to it if you are in the area.

I recommend that you go early in the morning because it gets very hot. Money well spent. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back with our teenagers soon.

Exemplary facility doing critical work to bring the cheetah back from near genetic extinction. Very knowledgable staff and volunteers. If I lived nearby I would most certainly volunteer. Also a great opportunity to interact with the cheetah (no risk of accidently supporting canned hunting here)
