They call this "park"? surrounded by factory warehouse and ugly concrete apartments, and inside this so call "park" is full of sewage drains, the place is always dusty, rubbish all over and no one ever clean it. Homeless people all over this so call "park".

Its a great place to stroll around and take in its nooks and crannies. There are the old brickworks, the sculpture on top of the hill which has good views-particularly of fireworks on New Years eve, watching the ducks, lone swan, swallows etc .The water dropping from one lake area to another is great to watch if you know where... I live around the area and visits often. Large park but gets very crowded on weekends. I wouldn't get out of my way to come here.

Lots of hidden corners. Decent walk and great views on the hills. Great spot for the kids for cycling and activity parks. There is a small kiosk but the service is lacking. No bubbly friendly person behind the counter

Whilst the environmental and scenic qualities of this park are endless it is the experience with our four legged friends that seems to dominate. Basically the park is a big unregulated dog off leash area where you can get a dog to event eat off your plate near the mediocre café. The kids playground is a nightmare as you cannot... More

Sydney Park is mainly a big area for locals and events, but I'm here to say that it's a worthwhile destination for tourists. What you want to do is get a bus to the top of King St, Newtown (get off somewhere around Missenden Road), then walk all the way down King St (maybe 3 kilometres? make sure to keep... More

I love coming here just for a little break away from the intensity of the inner west. The duck ponds are nice to walk around and I love seeing all the dogs! Good for kids with the playground and bike training area.

Only reason to visit is a parkrun tourist. So my experience is a 5k run through and around the park. It's a nice spacious park probably worth a walk around for all. You get nice skyline view at top of the hill.
