Not worth going too. Temple is under construction. View is better in Ashikagawa park. Nothing much to see up the mountain and many people in the ropeway so if you're not at the front, not much of a view.

Great ride and wonderful views. Perfect for that view of Mt Fuji. Can get very packed with big queues so arrive early. They are rebuilding the restaurant and toilets at the moment so there are no facilities at the top so eat before and go to the toilet before you go up.

We spent only a few minutes here. It was just a cramped cable car ride with yet another view of Mt. Fuji (not exactly a great view). They were repairing the upper portion so all you can see at the top except for the view, are people constructing what seems to be a resto. After going up, we immediately went... More

This attraction needs to be renovated, it also has only one cable car going up and down, we went on a time that wasn't a season and still we waited for some time especially on the way down. Also you should check the weather before you go , we could not see Mt.Fuji because of the bad weather

In April 2017, I and my family just spent a short time at the top as it was bit crowded, construction was ongoing and unfortunately, we didn’t have a good view of Mt. Fuji as it was cloudy. At that time, the staff tried to fit in as much people as possible in the aerial lift/cable car so you’ll only... More

1. Too expensive 2. Too small area on the top to enjoy the view 3. Annoying and frustrating staff with no English speaking!!!!!!

The views from both the cable car and the station at the top of the mountain were incredible. We were very lucky in that it was a very clear day and there were no clouds covering Mt Fuji. They are constructing a new station at the top so movement is somewhat restricted but not too greatly. There are a lot... More

We came here by bus on April 30th and saw Blooming Sakura on the top ... so we decided to take the ropeway to enjoy them and see if great view on Fuji is available... it was a fantastic experience (view from Hakone or other is not as good as here) and it s a must for anyone who wants... More

We were lucky to see Fujisan since we only have a day to explore Kawaguchiko. Before we left Tokyo, we check the webcams and weather report to have a better chance of seeing her.

Only worth it on a clear day when mt fuji is insight, otherwise you can skip it and spend your money some place else.
