A small museum of dolls of the artist Yuki Atae . More than 100 dolls very nicely displayed , including video showing the manufacture process. Also shop and coffee shop .

If you have travelling to Kawaguchi-ko to see the famous Mount Fuji but the weather has blanketed her in clouds then the museum is good to stop in to use up some time and hope the clouds clear.

Was the last place on earth that I thought I would enjoy, but I was actually blown away by the dolls. The artist captured the emotions of each subject making them seem to come alive. Absolutely recommend a quick visit.

Amazing hand-crafted dolls on display. Really life-like with amazing facial expressions. Definite must-see. I happened upon the pamphlet and it was a treat! Amazing craftsmanship by an unknown artist making mesmerizing dolls with the most intricate and detailed facial expression possible. Well worth a visit!
