Awsome Experience

It was a great experience, to descend over 200 meters below ground and see how water created such great architecture was amazing. Wear a jacket, it gets very cold.

Great place to visit! Interesting geology total hidden from the world. Well worth the drive up, over 4,000 ft above sea level 1309m. Allow half a day. Easy parking and café at the top. 1 hour 30 minutes for full tour. "Voyage to the centre of the world" filmed here. No wonder! Guided tours only at set times. Book ahead... More

This is a drive through some narrow mountain roads and some steep climbs and very sharp corners. When you get there, many places to park free and the whole attraction is in a mountain bowl. Plenty of picnic tables and shop and restaurant sells ready made filled batons and drinks to take out. Tourist office here. Ticket office for caves... More

This attraction can be very busy so book tickets in advance, be sure to have enough time to drive there as well as many caravans love to visit so the traffic jams can be long. It is amazing to enter these caves with so high ceiling and the ghost is indeed there!

Took a detour here travelling from Oviedo to Leon - glad we did. Visited here based on Trip Advisor and as always the reviews were spot on. Fabulous caves but you need warm clothing, only Spanish tours off season but still worth tagging along. Most interesting bit, apart from the spectacular formations, was been left to find your own way... More

If you have a car you must go to visit the caves and sorroundings, it is really beaufifull. Don't forget good warm clothes though, it is quite chill inside after a while.

This cave visit is extraordinary, exciting and well worth going out of your way for. The drive though valley, rocks and along the river is in itself a thrill. The cave visit is accompanied by excellent guides. There is plenty of time to enjoy the magnificence of the cave complex and take photos. We took the shorter visit; there is... More
