    Wonderful cooking class
Such an amazing experience. We enjoyed learning about the different ingredients and how to make substitutions that make a dish vegan. The kitchen area was clean, spacious and air conditioned. I really recommend this class!

    Wonderful experience in Koh Samui!
InFusion cooking class was definitely one of my highlights of Koh Samui! My friend and i did a 5 hour class and cooked 4 amazing dishes. I am an experienced cook, but i learnt so much from Stephanie and Peedam about how thai ingredents work together, cooking seafood, how to choose seafood and the secret to the best Pad Thai! Stephanie picked us up from our resort and took us to a local market where she explained the different ingredients and what to buy. The local knowledge was fantastic. We then cooked at her lovely kitchen cooking school in comfort as she told us about techniques, ingredients and also answered our questions about Koh Samui island and how it is to live there - we learnt alot about the island and walked away feeling like we could be a local! Stephanie also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations that we would never have discovered. Thank you Stephanie and Peedam - we loved our day with you!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We hope to see you again, Peedam and Stephanie

    Authentic!
This was a great experience! Got picked up at our hotel and went straight to a local market which was very interesting and fun. After that we went to the cooking school which was a really nice and clean location. As soon as we arrived we were provided with a variety of drink options. Peedam, Tik and Stephanie were great teachers. Explained everything in thoughtful details and in a good pace. The food they thought was really tasty and authentic. You make more than enough food and if you don't eat everything they will give it away so nothing goes to waste, which is really nice. Can really recommend this cooking class which is private, hand to hand learning. You get to choose between a huge variety of dishes, really nice and friendly teachers and amazing food.
Thank you so much for this great review. We hope to see you again.

We had a wonderful time with infusion. We were paired with Paiwan who is a local chef who took us first to a local market to show us the types of produce and foods. Then he taught us how to cook 3 local dishes. He was attentive and informative and patient. Even took us to his herb garden to demo a number of spices and ingredients. It was a fantastic half day with great company and a wonderful teacher. Highly recommended!

Slightly thrown by our taxi pickup but all was revealed after a 45min drive into the interior of the island through dense forest on rough roads to an orchard and greetings by the owner, our guide Stephanie and her chef. A very pleasant look around the grounds, chatting about the plants and their uses, sampling some fruit and herbs and encountering tiny toads, a tokay, a gorgeous spider and several birds and butterflies. A drink and more fruit to sample followed by a short walk to a great view and down to a waterfall that unfortunately is out of water at the moment - still interesting. Then it was off to the local produce market - not the touristy one!! Buzzing and exciting - we sampled curries, sausages, fried chicken skins, desserts and iced coffee and tea Thai style while Stephanie explained it all. This tour was a great way to see some of the island and get closer to the locals while getting some inside knowledge into their food and culture. Thanks Stephanie.

We did this class with my wife and our friends together. We met at the local market and met Paiwan. What a great person. He has a passion for Thai food and his passion shows in how he teaches. The local marker was an eye opener on Thai basics and fresh ingredients. We learned a lot. We then walked 5 minutes from the market to our class room. The open kitchen and set up is great. You have everything you need to learn and cook. We had Stephanie and Paiwan instructing the 4 of us. Between the 4 of us we made Papaya Salad, Prawn Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Red Curry, Panang Curry and Green Curry. Oh my goodness we’re the dishes amazing, the flavours incredible. We got to eat all our food and we’re presented with parting gifts.

All in all the experience was fantastic. Great for the money and it will be a too highlight of your trip.

We had a wonderful few hours learning to cook some of our favourite dishes.
The menu choice is huge but we choose to make spicy fish cakes, prawn soup and a Massaman Curry.
Robert doesn’t do much cooking but he also really enjoyed it.
The visit to the market beforehand was also really interesting. If you like Thai food, we’d really recommend this class. Our tutors were so patient and helpful and we came away with so much confidence.
Highly recommended

We paid for a private half-day of lessons and were so, so, so happy with the experience! After picking four dishes we wanted to learn, we were picked at our hotel, got a tour of a local market, then went through all four dishes. The planning was incredible, meaning that our host staggered the dishes so they all finished at the same time (1pm) and we got to eat an incredible (big!) lunch that we had made ourselves.

This was a highlight of our time in Ko Samui. Very strongly recommend!

We did the herb garden tour and cooking class and found it excellent value for money. Our chef was patient and knowledgeable as he guided us through the preparation and cooking of our Thai dishes. All done in a lovely modern and air conditioned kitchen. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I attended the evening class (17:00-19:00). After the welcome herbal drinks, Cheff Paiwan and I visited the organic garden outside the Villa and he kindly explained to me about all the ingredients we are going to use for the vegan green curry. When we started the preparation you could tell he is indeed an executive Cheff by how orderly and cleanly he instructs manages your work station. As a line cook in my home country I appreciate this immensely. He also drew comparisons with European style cooking about similarities and differences. The next thing we made was green mango salad. I was astounded at how many new spices, herbs are used in Thai cooking and understood why even the simplest street food is an explosion of flavors.

Next time I would opt for the morning class because it's longer :-)

The day starts at the outdoor market. We were met and spent about 30 mins learning about Thai food, vegetables, spices etc. Then a short drive an were at the house to begin cooking. Everything was prepared for our selected meal and the supervision throughout the morning was excellent. They helped you but let you do the cooking and all the preparation and we enjoyed it very much. Then at the end we got to eat the fruits of our labour. When you are done you get a small parting gift and they send you all the recipes so you can continue your learning at home. Very well done and it was an enjoyable day.

My sister and I decided to go the half day cooking class on our visit to Koh Samui in September and we were not disappointed!

We started with the market tour which was awesome! Pawain was a great market guide and taught us so much about the produce available in Koh Samui and how they use it. We even got to try some of the food on offer which was delicious!!

Next we went to the lovely cooking school spot which was very clean with aircon. Pawain again was our teacher and he was awesome! My sister and I chose three dishes to cook and he guided us through, teaching us how to do it and helping us along the way. The whole operation ran very smoothly and it was a great time spent. The food we made was so tasty and honestly there was so much of it we had to get some takeaway! There was another couple doing the course with us who were cooking with Stephanie (who was also so lovely and helpful!), we ate our meal with them and had a nice time chatting. I can highly recommend this cooking class and would go again if I were to come back to Koh Samui to try some of the other amazing dishes!

Had a very informative morning at Bophut market led by Paiwan. Learnt a few interesting things I didn’t know about Thai ingredients. We were then driven to a clean, well organised kitchen in a nearby house. My partner & I selected previously 3 dishes out of a vast variety and we were extremely happy with the outcome! We made a wonderful coconut custard dessert. The sweet pork was to die for and would highly recommend it and the fish cakes were hard work, pounding the ingredients with the mortar and pestle but so worth it. The flavours were incredible!! The ingredients were so fresh and Paiwan was so fantastic explaining & answering our questions. It was fun with another couple cooking at the same time in their cooking area. The refreshing blue floral drink which turned purple with lime juice was a highlight too. We sat and ate our delicious food with the other couple and shared our food for a taste. Most enjoyable day. Thank you Stephanie & Paiwan.
