This place is so good I booked the whole place for my birthday. Not just a cafe but a museum & shops too. Not the cheapest place but definitely one of the best.

Called in here this morning for a drink and cake and loved it! A very quirky environment with some lovely vintage shops, and without doubt, the best hot chocolate drink I've ever had! Will definitely visit again!

Taken by friends to this unusual and excellent venue. Being very interested in cars and motorsport it combines these activities with really great food and excellent value. The Christmas menu was in operation and the "Christmas Ploughmans " was really good. The atmosphere, staff and food quality are very goo.

It's just so different. Something for everyone from classic cars to fab food, retro shops and more. Great for a girly lunch; somewhere to take granny on a Sunday or put it on the list for a biker's day out. Very good food, super atmosphere, it really will appeal to all tastes.

Been today for our second visit. I love the old cars and the memorabilia on the walls and the food is amazing. We found out selves driving from the south of Rotherham today just for their breakfast as it is outstanding. We like it so much we have it set in our sat nav ready for the next visit. The... More

We first visited The Oil Can Cafe a year ago and have been many times since. We travel from Sheffield, passing other places on the way, but knowing that once there we will have stepped into a little haven and leave very happy. It's unique and over the year have got to know some staff really well. They are always... More

Tried to ring to book and enquire about lunch. Left 2 messages - no one returned my calls. Then decided to email them.......still awaiting a response. Obviously they are not bothered about your trade!! Was recommended to this place, but won't be going if they cannot be bothered to answer calls

What a fabulous find. Had a lovely breakfast here today which was so delicious. The staff were attentive and what a lovely atmosphere. Then we looked round all the little shops and spent a fortune on Christmas decorations. Highly recommend.

I loved this place! My Dad was a garage mechanic in the 50s and this setting was pure nostalgia for me.The staff were dressed in theme with the era.Without exception they were friendly and cheerful.Plenty of choice on the lunch menu and we were more than satisfied with our delicious food. The shops around the dining area were quirky and interesting.I found... It's a great place with appeal for all types except folks who go to the Ivy or L'Enclume and think it's the best experience and food ever.
