The seafood is amazing. Well seasoned, fresh from the ocean, cooked right there for your eating pleasure. I ate at a place called Crystal's, but there are many, many places to choose from. Try the breadfruit chips and the red snapper. Mouth-watering!

Great night out for anyone. We had 2 kids 7 and 10 with us so we went around 5.30. Headed straight through the fish market to the pier to watch the turtles being fed. Crystal clear waters and the guys from the fish market will...More

This was my second trip to Ostins on a Friday night, it were was a lot of people at different food vendors. Generally it was one huge street party, with people singing and dancing and just have a good time, after a long work week.

If you like fish, and you are in Barbados on a Friday night; then go here. Even if it is just the once. Casual dress, great fresh food, and a chance to meet other locals and tourists.

For fish lovers this is certainly not to be missed! Absolutely fresh fish cooked in front of you straight from the fishermans' net! Very cheap night out too!

The Friday night fish fry is famous on the island, so we had to try it out. Lots of people, fish, flames, BBQs, loud music, and beer. It looked a bit intimidating and chaotic at first, but once you relax and go with the flow...More

Saw an amazing sunset on Oistins beach and then enjoyed the 3 Banks for $5 offer with Rum Punch chasers. Great fish, pretty chilled vibe, mega busy and more fun if you don't sit with the other tourists. We met some locals and sat with...More

We simply had to check this out while we were on the island and we weren't disappointed! I must admit I expected it to be like a load of street vendors but actually it's more like little restaurant kiosks that take your order and give...More

We got the local reggae bus down from Holetown as I did not want to miss seeing what the hype was about. Take it from me - choose your restaurant wisely. I can't remember the one we chose but it was not great. I did...More

We walked (older couple) but pavements can be a bit wonky. Or use the reggae buses that cost $2 each irrespective of distance. They will be crammed with locals but they are all super friendly. Take care with buses though as... More

Other than side dishes (salad or macaroni cheese pie) I didn't see any vegetarian dishes on the menu. However as I wasn't really looking for these I could have missed something
