My son discovered this place on a school trip and insisted we come back. I am glad that we did. The relaxed pace, variety of objects, and the outdoor glass garden was all wonderful. We plan to return. My husband's observation was that items were reasonably priced here as well. Parking and entry are free. Visit during the week to see the glassblowing.

The snow fall added to the beauty of the large glass garden of trees and plants. You then entered to Kock family glass blowing house/restaurant/atelier. We gathered around the tables facing the furnace as father and son created several pieces of art. The son provided commentary in English. We drank some local beer ate cheese, pretzels (think Wrigley Field size) plus brats etc. afterwards we wandered around the studio. A well spent 1 1/2 hours.
