Overview
More
Skelligs Chocolate is a family run business overlooking the magnificent Skelligs Rocks, on the south west coast of Ireland. Our factory opened its doors in 1996, consisting of two little production rooms; one for making chocolate and the other for packaging. The factory has since expanded to a state of the art production facility with adjoining cafe which serves delicious hot chocolate, tea, coffee and homemade treats. With the only open plan chocolate production facility in Ireland, we encourage you to call in to see our chocolate being made, taste the delicious treats and ask the friendly staff all about where chocolate comes from and how it is made.

A little gem of a place, on the Skellig Ring. It's off the main Ring of Kerry route, so is easy to miss. Make a point of finding it. The factory is open-plan and the tastings are fun and educational. The cafe is terrific and...More

Stopped of here on the Slea Head Loop. Kids loved the chocolate and we all really enjoyed the samples and descriptions of the chocolate making process. Fun stop, would recommend to anyone driving the Dingle Peninsula.

They give you samples to taste when you first enter. Many flavors are for sale, but we found that the prices are highest at this location. The same products are available in Killarney and elsewhere for 1-2 euros less per bag. . Go to the...More

If you are already planning on doing the Slea Head drive definitely make a stop here! I was surprised at how many samples were given to help you decide on your favorites. They sell many cutely packaged chocolate perfect for souvenirs.

Drove to the Chocolate Co on a drizzly overcast day. Ride is a little tricky, with narrow, windy roads. You get ample samples to try. Chocolate is quite tasty. There is also a small cafe with hot chocolate, coffees, pastries, cakes, etc. We also stopped...More

We drove and walked a lot around the Wild Atlantic Way last week. The children got a bit fed up with the driving and the stupendous views so it was nice to take them somewhere a bit different. It's great to be able to see...More

Hi Carmel C, by default chocolate is gluten free - but we have a seasonal café (March through September) so we do warn all visitors there is a very small possibility of cross contamination. I hope that helps. Colm... More
