This factory tour was seriously disappointing. I was tempted to give it just one star, but I feel bad leaving negative reviews!! I'm not really sure how they could have made this tour more interesting--especially since the actual factory was shut down for one of their scheduled breaks. (Sure would have been nice to know about this when I made... More

We enjoyed our time at the Perugina Factory. We were told when we arrived that the factory was closed that day for repairs, so instead, we had a demonstration by one of the chefs as to how they made the chocolates. This actually might have been more interesting than seeing the factory! The demonstration was well done (and delicious) and... More

We enrolled in the 3 hour Scuola del Cioccolato and it was a blast! I speak some Italian but the chef is understandable if you pay attention. I think the Scuola is only in Italian. We learned about chocolate, and made over 2 dozen truffles and an entire tray of chocolate with hazelnuts and /or almonds. It is extremely hands... More

This could be any factory making anything really, I think they should try and do something extra to make it more appealing. It's a little boring for children but could do so much more.

Perugina factory tour - Amazing tour and fantastic chocolate experience, I would recommend everyone take time from their trip to Italy to experience chocolate nirvana. Chocolate and Hazelnuts, what could be better. I was amazed at the broad spectrum of chocolate that comes out of the Perugina factory. Boy was I wrong, thinking Perugina only made Bocci hazelnut filled chocolates.... More

After booking my group for a visit and tour of the facility, they decided to close for inventory purposes. I really think they could have honored their booking and not disappointed 28 people. Will never try it again.

We stopped in without a reservation or checking tour hours. Fortunately, a tour was just starting as we arrived. Although the whole tour was in Italian (we understand and speak a bit) it was very informative. The docent was very well informed and presented the tour well, she was also fluent in English and could answer any questions we couldn't... More

I went there in November with my family. It is a big factory and nothing is touched by hand.We tasted some of the chocolates and the black wrapper is like you are in heaven, never tasted it before. The guide Francesa Marini was good she explained very well.If you are in Perugia go and watch the BACI how is made. Thanks.
