We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. As novice skiers (understatement) we hired skis and had a double ski lesson for just under a hundred (English) pounds. It was calm and relaxed and the baby beginners slope was a joy. Only usurped by the odd three year old putting us to shame! Restored my faith in skiing. Would definitely recommend for... More

Since the youngest kids don't have much experience with downhill skiing, we chose to drive up here. This place is large enough to be spacy, and since all slopes end up in the same place, it's no problem to keep track of the kids. The beginners slope is free, and easy (but short). Good for beginners. The large chair-lift brings... More

Great small alpine destination, 2,5 hours from Oslo. With high expertic, ski rental, tonns of snow and very helpful service. If you prefer cross country skiing but would like to have the opportunity to do alpine as well - this is the spot!

We visited here as beginners and loved it, snow and lessons are fantastic (we were taught by Aspen) the equipment staff were very friendly and really helpful and even let our son (4 years old) use boots and a small board for free so now he's a huge boarding fan! Would visit again!

We visited this place as total novice skiers. The service we received was beyond expectation. The rental service was very helpful and the Ski instructors went way out of their way to teach me and my various family members the basics of skiing. I found this place to be incredibly family friendly. My children thoroughly enjoyed the place and they... More

Having rented a cabin privately we skied both alpine and cross country in sjusjoen. I enjoyed it much more than Hafjell or Kvitfjell. After coming in week 7 in 2013, and week 6 in 2014, it was a clear difference, Sjusjoen is higher up than Hafjell, or whatever is with the weather, and gets incredible amount of snow. For the... Sjusjoen cross country ski trails are excellent. I was there late in the season and it was the same weekend as the Troll ski marathon and the snow was great. It was sunny and the trails were in perfect condition despite the heavy use. There is a large network of trails. Nice undulating runs and a rather nice one along... More
