Small kids enjoyed it. Compared to other aquariums one has visited, I'd rate this as average aquarium with local fish in the aquarium. A good educational place for kids. The location of this aquarium is worth it all. The view is spectacular. A great place...More

In your trip to Lofoten islands, don't miss their aquarium (Lofotaqvariet), in Storvagan, near Kabelvag (some 10 / 12 km away from Svolvaer). First of all, it s located in a beautiful natural environment. Preview some time to enjoy it! And take your picnic, they...More

We saw all kinds of ordinary fish like cod etc. Great fun. Some fish were beautiful and some fish amazingly ugly. Also some information on the salmongrowing industry. Go there!

It is 8 years since I was here, and was a little disappointed that there was not much changes since my last visit. It is educational for the kids, and they loved the seals. Ok attraction for the family.

There were quite a lot of different fish in the aquarium, and I liked the idea of showing the species living in the Lofoten area. However, I would have liked to see more information about the fish in English. And I couldn't help being a...More

Lofotakvariet has a good variety of different types of fish and shellfish indiginous to the area. At noon, there's a feeding of the seals and otters in the pools outside of the aquarium. When we were there, the person feeding the seals, told us briefly...More
