ave you ever been to a Rescue of Exotic Animal Center on the verge of a ravine? Welcome to Maroparque Isla de La Palma, a botanical and Rescue of Animal Exotic Center site which offers you panoramic views of some parts of the island as well as of the ocean. At Maroparque you can enjoy yourself while seeing exotic animals (some of them, endangered species), such as crocodriles, porcupines,snakes, birds of prey, ostrichs, monkeys...Or take a walk through our pasable aviaries surrounded by cranes, peacocks, parrots..And beautiful albino wallabies! Always surrounded by a lot of vegetation (mostly endemic)

This was by far a beautiful location with helpful guides and clearly devoted to nature by their care for the animals and plants. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend for some fantastic sights!

We have visited Maroparque several times and it is always fun. When the children were small and this year as teenagere. The zoo is doing a great job helping animals exposed to illegal wildlife trade. The location on the verge of a ravine is beautiful....More

Set up in the hills above Santa Cruz, the Maroparque is really something to savor. We nearly did not go - but so glad we made the effort - it is an enchanting place, where the birds are the stars ( and often real characters)....More
