Aloe is the thing on the island and they have lots of products here, not cheap but it seems the genuine product. Also interesting bit of history to read and watch about the Aloe plant, production, history and of course what it claims to do...More

Stopped here on a volcano tour. Was pretty cool! Learnt a lot about Aloe Plants and what they do and ate some as well. Weird texture. If I had more money at the time I would have spent A LOT of money here!

We visited the “museum” from our cruise ship. A representative talked about aloe for about 15 minutes then allowed us to tour on our own. Mostly consists of a large shop and advertising for a host of aloe products.

The samples of the raw product as you enter, the lady told us to just rub it into the skin - my skin felt immediately amazing and soft..! Bought three products from the small shop at the end!

These free museums are all over the island and I would say worth a visit. Very interesting info about aloe's, salt and cochineal. We did find the prices of the Aloe products rather expensive though.
