Beware that if the tide is in, not all the beach to the east is accessible. Great mix of naturists an non-naturists. Absolutely no facilities so bring your own. Reasonable parking here too. A tip - a good cliff-top walk is from Zavial beach to...More

This a wonderful beach and you can take your pets along with you. It's the ideal place to go for a stroll or just sunbathe. Usually it's also quieter than the beaches near by.

This is a popular long sandy beach , easily accessible by car, with ample parking. There are two cafes, one at either end of the beach and there is a good wooden walkway alongside the road for pedestrians. These walkways branch off to provide easy...More

A beautiful beach, with access in the low tide to other beach áreas. It is large and the sea is often calm. Landscape is fantastic, with Vila Nova de Mil Fontes and some amazing cliffs.

The Praia das Furnas is located on the other side of the river from Vila Nova de Milfontes. The sea is more calm compared to other beaches of the region and almost no rocks. Pity that in August 2017 heavy works are in course so...More

Nice beach near Vila Nova de Milfontes. Spent the afternoon there, but I think there are better beaches in Portugal.

A big beach with occasional shade next to the cliffs. Open to wind so take a brolly or shade thing. When the tide is out there is a lovely lagoon with sand bar perfect for swimming. Ample parking. No toilets.

part river, part sea, this beach is not wide but offers great quality time for families. River side is better for toddlers, warm water and you can walk in water much far from the sand with water level by your waist or less. Also the...More

Furnas beach sits on the southern side of the estuary of the River Mira, often said to be the cleanest river in Europe due to the lack of industry beside it, at Vila Nova da Milfontes. Access is gained either from the N393 for vehicles...More
