Integral part of Molivos' charm

If you have the time, definitely worth the climb up there and the €2 entrance fee. Well conserved, informative little indoor exhibitionism, great views.

Beside the ancient castle there is an atmospheric place for coffee, breakfast, drinks and wine, named " Vyzantino" . Α beautiful balcony with the most beautiful view in the blue of the sea.

As an Izmirian, it was great to look at the Aegean Sea from this side. Down the street, the shops and the ambiance were very nice.

Molivos is a small but very lovely town. There are very few places and cAstle is one of them. You can visit every month of the year. But if you are visiting in december, you should get windstopper clothes. Because its very very windy. But castle is highly recommend beacuse of its view and history .. Cheers Ernur

The castle is at the top of the village, a steady climb on cobbled streets if this is too difficult for you an easier option is to catch the little train which will take you up the back way. The castle is a ruin but it is worth visiting for the wonderful panoramic views.
