Stunning sandy beach with turquoise waters. Not busy at all, but we are here early in the season. Lovely water for swimming. We walked round to the far right and made camp on the rocks where it was even quieter.

Dreadful, busy, disgusting, filthy. Too many tourists and campers. People leaving behind their junk and the places is crammed with beach dwellers. The sea is so filthy. Shame people are unable to treat this otherwise beautiful piece of nature with respect.

Beautiful rocks and nature, perfect for snorkeling. Sadly too many people during season. No need to pay for an umbrella.

This if my favourite beach of all I have visited in my life. Last time in 2019 it was a jewel. In 2022 it has became so popular that it is very crowded.

DON’T GO!!! They scratched my car (both sides) just because I wasn’t from their country!! And they did it in a matter of 2 minutes! We parked the car, saw that the water was dirty with garbage (because it was super crowded) and when we came back we saw this horrific act! I would give it 0 stars if I could👎🏼

Had high expectations but crushed as we approached & saw the number of cars & then after parking ( which was a nightmare) & walking to the beach witnessing the crowds of people there. There are other beaches in sithonia which are just as pretty but with a more relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. After helping a guy dig his car out of the sand we moved on to a quieter place-Shush it’s our secret beach!!

There are two Karydi beaches. Both are absolutely stunning. The first one I visited last year and that beach is the one that everyone has reviewed here. However, I have just gotten back from Greece and this time we hopped over to the other beach on the right over the rocks as a film crew turned up and it was starting to get busy on the first beach. Not a soul anywhere, we were the only ones there. It was just beautiful. Absolute paradise and easily beats the Caribbean beaches I have visited. Crystal clear warm water, which goes out a long way without dropping so ideal for children. But bear in mind there are zero facilities...perfect for me but maybe not everyone's cup of tea. Not sure I should even put this information out as the beach may find more visitors.

Fantastic beach for swimming, easy to play, swim, snorkle.
Beach is less than 2 meters deep for a long distance.
Some coral can be seen while snorkeling.

Too many kids in a shallow shole could be a bit… ‘dirty’ if you know what I mean.
However, the convenience of a restaurant nearby (Melia) and 2 food trucks selling small snacks, makes up for the downside.
Arrive by 9am and should not have trouble finding parking. I suggest park on road going into the shaded tree area to avoid traffic jam and extra insurance with car rental company 😅

Nice beach with gentle slope, warm water, and some nice rocks to explore on the headland. Several snack bar options and a decent amount of parking inland from the beach.

Hi - How is the road to reach the Karydi beach? we will drive our own car (not an SUV) and if the road is too bad and the access is difficult I rather exluce it from the list

Rent a car degil kendi arabımız ile gidicez o yüzden merak ediyorum. Ulaşım sıkıntılı mı? Asfalt mı yoksa toprak yoldan mı? Yarı yoldan geri dönmeyelim :)

Ciao,
vorrei passare due settimane in Calcidica e mi chiedo quale sia il paesino più adatto alle nostre esigenze.
Anche se viaggeremo in agosto cerchiamo tranquilllità e poca gente. Ci piacerebbe trovare una casa proprio sul mare e vicina al paese.
