Boutari is one of the most awarded and most historical companies of quality wine making in Greece. It was established in 1879 in Naoussa. Boutari winery Santorini was the first winery on the island to offer tours, tastings and art programs since 1990. Its dazzling white dome was voted as one of the 10 architectural wine wonders of the world. Santorini is a magical place for making wine. Our goal is to share with you our passion for top quality winemaking. We are open every day from 10:00 – 19:00 for wine-tastings, lunch and wine-shopping. We offer everyday 5 different Food and Wine experiences. It will be our pleasure to welcome you at our winery!

This is a great place for a visit and to sample some great local wines 🍷 but before the tastings make sure you do the short winery tour and learn about the local processes and the interesting way the vine grows on the ground due...More

We enjoyed our visit for a glass of wine but we're disappointed that you cannot have a wine tasting unless you go on the winery tour. It's 15 euro for the tasting and tour.

We were intrigued by the circular vines growing around the apartment we were staying in, so wandered down the road to the award winning Boutari winery. They explained it was to protect the grapes from the strong winds, along with lot's of other details, and...More

The wine tasting and tapas was excellent, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The vineyard near the cellars was small but displayed the low vines very well.

We booked the semi-private wine tour at Boutari only (didn't want the wine tour that includes 3 or 4 wineries, since we were not very familiar with wine tasting and all). We arrived 15 minutes prior to the tour and were greeted and offered some...More

We had a six wine flight of Lokal wines. Only one of them was good. They sell the wines in the Shop, but you can also buy exactly the same bottles in Lidl for a half price. The service was good though.

We stopped here after a hot morning of sightseeing. We were greeted warmly and picked a flight of 6 wines, whites and reds. The staff was informative about all of the wines we tried and about the tomato paste and cheese we tried with the...More

We did a tasting here while on vacation. Very easy to get to, just opposite the main street into Megalochori, a few minutes past the turn off for the ferry terminal (if coming from Fira). We were warmly welcomed, and decided on a flight of...More

I reserved mine ahead of time and that was in October, I would definitely get them ahead for July as it will be the busy time of the year.

From what I understand much of the island shuts down during the winter. Boutari's Santorini operation is a is a fairly large operation but I would contact the winery directly.
