30 min tour around the hotel property at night and the guide only spoke Spanish. I was lucky my wife was able to translate for me. We did see sloths, an anteater, Cayman and a Crocodile. For 30 min and free, I thought it was...More

My husband and I took this tour. Saw a turtle, some rats and egrets. It's okay. Kids would probably enjoy. Not much to it. In an open truck.

Motor tram to noisy at night makes it hard to see animals at night. Didn't see one nocturnal animal.

An ok trip, but you go round in a big car and yes, you see a few animals, but you stay very close to the hotel and it's not that big of an adventure - but it's easy. I wish the hotel would offer walking...More

It's free if you stay at the resort and it should be. You drive the grounds which takes all of about 20 minutes in a bumpy truck , they shin a flash light in the tees and all you see is bugs. Find something else...More

I have done this activity several times each with a similar experience. The guide spoke English, Spanish, and some Portuguese and did a very good job of finding and describing the animals. We saw two Sloths, which luckily were low in their trees, a fox,...More

The only good thing I can say about this safari that it was free, total waste of 30 minutes. Saw no animals, very muggy night, rough roads be prepared to be shaken up on the vehicle .

Having done this type of tour in the Amazon, I should have known what to expect. Some nighttime birds, but mostly focused on finding and grabbing crocs and caimans to bring into the boat to show guests. Living where there are alligators galore, this really...More

There was not much happening the night we went. We saw Cayman, a crocodile, a turtle, bats, moths and lots of mosquitoes. Take botanical oils or deet.

Take advantage of the free tour for guests of Gamboa Resort. Climb a safari truck. Wear long pants. Spray mosquito repellant. Short ride to look for sloths, monkeys, capybaras. It's not easy to do this yourself. 30 minutes only.
