Going to Marmolada is always perfect experience. You never know what the weather would look like :) Also skiing back down is a good journey with the longest slope I have ever skied - almost 6.5 km.

Marmolada is still the same good skiing area for expert skiers. You need really warm clothes, good skis and weather. This February it was cold there and lines were long. It was worth waiting and after that skiing down, down. I expect that connections with Arabba will get some new cableways.

The Marmolada is an absolutely fantastic place to ski in winter, allowing to have a stunning view on basically all the Dolomities. The slope is 12km long and always perfectly prepared.

What can you write about a place like this, is beyond imagination. The view is breathless, the air is even more.

When skiing in the Dolomites this is a must do. It will take you three gondolas to get to the top, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful view. If you are going to ski down, enjoy the view first and let the majority of people ski down first :-). Take into account that, because of the highs it... More

We took the cable car up Marmolada in August. The views were fabulous! Be warned that the weather conditions will be much cooler at altitude (a layer covering the legs and arms was comfortable, though not strictly necessary, on a hot summer day). At the top, you can stay on the viewing platform or walk out onto the snow field.... More

A must place to visit in the Dolomites. Been there on July. Was funny touching snow and walking in a fog in July. Great fun for kids. The view is breathtaking on both ways. The ride itself is worth it. I guess that during winter it's colder and can only imagine the beauty of it
