I had read in the booklet 'Shropshire Churches' that this church is historic. It also appeared from the website that is open during the day. It was not open on Friday 3 March. A tolerable walk around but it was a cold day and Edstaston is not all that salubrious being dominated by the Lakeside bus depot..
