The Sian Ka'an is a bumpy taxi ride from Tulum but is well worth the trip. Hector was our wonderful guide. He was professional, friendly and very kind. We enjoyed boating through the mangroves and the float trip was amazing. I would highly recommend the experience.

Enjoying and understanding the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve really requires a private tour of some type. The roads and access are limited, so having a guide to show the best spots is essential. We found Diamante Maya Tours almost by accident, after struggling down the road in a downpour to find Boca Paila (which doesn't exist anymore, btw) and coming... More

Relaxing boat tour through one of the most gorgeous places on earth. The Mayan call it "Place Where Heaven is Born" for a reason. The sky and water seem to meet and go on forever. What a treat to spend the day with Ben and Bambi (yep, the captain’s name is Bambi) in the Sian Ka’an bioreserve. I can’t recommend Diamante Maya Tours enough. Ben Reynoso is a fantastic guide. He spots birds and animals everywhere – he even spotted a crocodile that Bambi thought was a log. He knows so much about every Sian... More
