This has to be the maddest place I have ever visited! It's a wine producing chateau but there are collections of fighter jets, motor bikes, Abarth racing cars, fire engines and farm machinery in the grounds and chateau. An added bonus is the wine is...More

Amazing, if a little bonkers collection of racing cars, motorbikes (including a very old tandem!), fighter jets, vineyard tractors, fire engines, plus loads of bits and bobs. All set in a lovely old unspoilt château. Sure, there are holes in the roof and so much...More

A very interesting 3 hours spent here. Beautiful, historic properties and an amazing collection of vehicles. The Abarth museum was particularly rare and interesting and there was an excellent collection of motorcycles. Fantastic collection of fighter planes. It could be improved even more with some...More

I had earmarked a drive to Savigny-les-Beaune because of it's collection of vehicles particularly motorbikes as we own a couple. The planes, bikes, tractors, ancient farm equipment and a hovercraft were set in the lovely grounds and in parts of the chateau as well. It's a...More

My husband and I came across the Chateau de Savigny-les-Beaune while driving around the local vineyards from our base in Beaune. Fascinating private display of bikes, plane and automobiles and a beautiful chateau.

The idea of the Museum is very good but the realization is not perfect! No informative signs at all! The Château is near to the break down- water is running in at the complete roof! There are so expensive cars and motorcycles - I would...More

My partner has a complete passion for motorbikes, airplanes and cars particularly old ones. I took him to this vehicle museum and he loved it, hundreds of motorbikes throughout the chateau itself, the most fantastic Arbath Italian car display and outdoors masses of old airplanes,...More

As far as my leaflet says it is open every day from 9 - 18.30 but when we were there it was closed on a Wednesday. The really nice Brasserie in the square opposite the chateau is not open on a Monday and there is no food... More

14 of us will be on a Viking River cruise and we wonder how to get to the Chateau de Savigny-les-Beaune on Tuesday September 22, 2015. We will be as close as Beaune that afternoon so we wonder how to get to you, do you offer any type of shuttle service? would we need to take a taxi? Then we need to return after our visit to Chalon-Sur-Saone where our ship will be docked that afternoon and evening. Can we get to a train station to return? Or is there another way to travel. We are without a car since we are traveling by boat. Any travel suggestions would be appreciated.
