Rakuh A Payaman aka Marlboro Country is a must visit if you are ever in Batanes. Located in Uyugan town in Batan Island, Batanes, the place is going to be one of the highlights in your visit to Batanes. One of the reasons why they often say Batanes is like New Zealand.

We ate at Marconine's. 300php per person and it was great. After lunch we've explored the hills beyond the restaurant. Be careful of your things that might be flown by the strong winds and be sure to put on sunblock. The air is cold but it still burns.

Otherwise known as Racuh a Payaman, this is one of the places in Batanes that you should not miss. The view of the cliffs, hills, sky, and sea in just one captures the beauty of Batanes. One can take a photo at any angle and will still produce a magnificent photo.

if you want some chillin', come here and be swept by the strong winds. the restaurant at the entrance was void of staff and guests as we were the only ones present. we thought it was to our own advantage because we have the whole marlboro hills to ourselves. but then again, nature has its own way of spoiling what... Definitely one of the highlights when going to Batanes. The hills are lush in color and you can definitely appreciate the 360 degree view. One of the best places I've been in all my travels

This place will give you your best memory of Batanes. It is just so beautiful that every photo would be great for your ig. We visited on the month of December. It is really cold and windy. I felt like we can fall off the hill because of the strong winds. You can just stay here and watch the ocean... More

All of Batanes is captivating. There isn't just enough time to savor the many wonderful views and Marlboro Hills is one of them. We spent more than 2 hours in this picturesque place and left wanting more.

So breathtakingly beautiful. The best experience in our Batanes trip. Feel of being on top of the world! The breeze so refreshing. All 360 degrees of view plus down under. Great for groupie pictures too. Be prepared to hike but doable.

I would say that kinda risky place that I have been to in Batanes was Racuh a Payaman or Marlboro Country. I have to hold firmly on the ground as to not to be sweep away by the all-powerful wind coming through and from. But still, it was a delightful experience considering it was natural as though you are riding... More
