The wine was great and the tour guide from a Coppo was lovely. Bought a lovely bottle of red Pomorosso 2013. Yum!

The rock in this area is easy to work so the villagers began in the 1500’s and 1600’s to carve out cellars for the storage of food, wine, and other goods. In the mid to late 1800’s, wine making, especially sparkling wine became a major...More
First of all, we thought that we were coming to taste Asti Spumante, but once here, found that this Cantina makes hardly any sparkling white wine now. Also the cellars were very disappointing, not that large and we found it difficult to understand how they...More
Amazing experience. The owner guided us through the 19th century cellars and gave us clear and exhaustive explaination abt the production and aging of their wines. Pomorosso is without any doubt the best Barolo I ever had! Wine tasting with salami and cheese was great....More
We had a very nice tour and talk about the coppo winery. very knowledgeable guide and a nice variety of piemontese wines to taste. Each comes with its own (hi)story, nicely narrated by a young cantina employee! Surely recommendable

Amazing Visit! The wine is just superb and it is great to hear the history of the family dedication to wine making through the centuries. We loved this visit and we would recommend to anyone who loves wine, old-fashioned wine making, family history and design.
Beautiful tour, great people, great wine - red and white! Try all of the Barbera, but only after you try as many bubbles as possible. What a journey for your pallet!
