We went there with friends for a light lunch and a strawl in the park, we all enjoyed it very much. The garden is well kept and even in the end of summer it is full of flowers. It is worth a visit

Loved this house!I want to live here!The comfortable rooms are filled with so many old masters such as Gainsborough, Stubbs, Reynolds etc. The porcelain is truly amazing. The gardens are beautiful with quirky areas.For me this is my favourite NT property.

Always a joy to wander around these lovely gardens. The recent addition of tea shop which serves a selection of fresh gluten free cakes is most welcome.

Don't arrive early - they won't let you in the grounds till 1pm. Privately run cafe/tea room with a sign "We don't sell fast food - we sell good food served as fast as we can", looking round at some of the earlier customers waiting...More
