If we ever get a chance to come back to Thailand we would come to the Kata area. The beach is gorgeous and the water is clear and warm. Even though there are thousands of people on the beach, we never felt crowded, and there...More

I loved, loved, loved this beach. First let me say I am not a driver, driving makes me nervous. SO, I did not rent a scooter while on Phuket and that made beach hoping a little difficult. That said, I did make it to the...More

At high season even this beach is filled. Any race or skin color, you can find em here. Sunday night market is the best for fruits, food, clothes, souvenirs, cosmetics. Awesome sunset although beach is not lit at night.

Very nice beach, only a short walk from Karon where we stayed. Can paraglide and body board. Short walk from the small town of kata for restaurants.

Crowded beach but able to rent a beach chair which is why this gets 4 stars. Thai beaches being public is annoying with chairs but this solved the issue for only 100 baht a day.

I´ts really cheap. I think around 15 bahts. August would be a little expensive than low season months. I went on november and it was really cheap, but you should not worry for a huge incrementation of prices.
