The beach is nice, not very long and the water is perfect. But as a big touristic city is nearby there always crowds on the beach. If you prefer quiter atmosphere, less people, Kata Noi is not the best choice

Stunning weather and a lovely beach to swim and stroll. We stayed at Katathani resort which was lovely. Plenty of lounge chairs and access to food and drinks.

Stayed at katathani, lovely hotel , very clean staff very friendly who clearly enjoyed their jobs. The beach is just in front, very clean, powdery sand. It’s a public beach and loungers and umbrellas are available in one section of the beach which is much needed as a visitor as there is little shade. As we were staying in the hotel, we could just use the hotel loungers in the shade and go on the beach and in the sea as required.

Fantastic little beach. It almost feels like a private beach. Not very crowded and very peaceful. Not a lot of places for shade so hire a sun lounger or take an umbrella. There are two stalls to get water located at either end so take your own or stay near the ends. The waves can be quite big which is good fun.

Quick visit as we passed through the district. Its virtually a continuation of Kata Beach, nestled in a picturesque bay, and, according to our driver, its a public beach although seems to be the domain of two major resorts. Impressive soft white sand and a calm sea on the morning that we visited.

This was a lovely beach, much quieter than Kata beach & just a short 200 Bhat tuk tuk ride from Kata.
The swimming was lovely & the beach clean.
There are beach beds & umbrellas to hire there too.

If there's a better beach in Thailand, I have yet to see it (in some 12 visits). The white sand has the perfect texture, and the seawater is very clear. For those not staying in the Katathani Hotel, an umbrella and two padded loungers are available for 250 baht. Occasional yellow signs warn against 'stingers in the sea during summer time'. By this, they mean jelly fish. We never saw any, and the notices may have been advised by lawyers to absolve anyone of blame if a swimmer did get stung seriously.
Because the beach is West facing, there are beautiful sunsets most nights.

Pretty enough beach but not really different from the other beaches nearby. I would pay attention to the red flags except they are out everyday that there is any surf. If you do try to swim, there are aggressive life guards who harrass you and threaten to call the police. Go elsewhere if you wish to swim in the sea.

Went there in September 2022. Kata Noi was a really nice beach. Not crowded at all during the time I was there. Definitely a lot more enjoyable than Kata and Karon beaches.

Are there beach massage vendors here? If so, what price should I expect?

Hi. I apologize I am just seeing your question. I honestly did not notice any but I was not looking for them. I literally just swam in the warm waters.

Yes agree with other reply. Taxi tuk tuk is the best bet. Negotiate a fair price. 500baht is standard fare. Beautiful beach, worth the visit, but not to sure during monsoon season.

Hi, claireruane. What would you like to know about this attraction? Hi Nonlaphan68, We have been to Kata Thani hotel twice before and to Thailand many times but I have never found a better beach on Phuket, looking to book for April next year and interested to know which beaches you think are better than Kata Noi? Thanks
