Phuket weekend market (locally known as Naka Market), located along Chao Fa West Road just outside Phuket Town not far from Central Festival, is a fascinating jumble of secondhand goods, curios, pirated items, live animals and a large amount of great local food to sample. It really is worth a visit even if you're not planning on buying anything. If you were to ask, "What's for sale here?" The answer would probably be, "How much time do you have?" as the list of goods is endless.

Great night market!

A bit difficult to reach this place by foot. However this place is worth a visit as there are many cheap buys and plenty of food stalls to choose from!

We visited the market a couple of nights ago and loved it. Lots of different foods to try, fresh seafood, bbq, fruit, pancakes, ice cream. Reasonably priced. A good selection of clothing or souvenir stalls to the rear, don't forget to haggle! If we were in the area again we would definitely go back.

Naka Market is a very big local market, where you can basically find everything you want or anything you are looking for in here (in very cheap prices!). If you're feeling hungry while shopping, you can just go to the back side of the market and grab some snacks and drinks! There is a leather shop, where you can buy... More

Fun to barter for prices, good for souvenirs and the food is awesome. Can be reached by scooter from the gyms if you're a confident rider, or is a cheap taxi if not.

I like going to check out the food, cheap too. Also here you always find something a little different even in the other areas. Eg, clothes, accessories and some entertainment. There is outdoor and under cover stalls, mostly undercover, does get very hot in the hot season, so best going as soon as it opens before it's too busy or... More

Largest market with all, my eyes have ever seen. The food is very good and very cheap. Souvenirs, electronics, medical, clothes and accessories to super prices besides that everything is negotiable. Must go, must see, must buy something.

This market is the biggest weekend market on Phuket. You can find all here. From souvenirs to local products, Good, drinks.... name it. And this cheaper than anywhere else on Phuket. The word is bargain... so don't except the price, surely not when you buy more than one. Open Saturday and Sunday as of 5pm. Located west of Phuket town.... More
