This may be of interest if you were of Chinese origin or interested in that period of history. Few exhibits, mostly tableaux. The outside area was closed when we visited and looked as though may have been of interest. May have been better to have...More

Dropped in whilst visiting Phuket old town and spent a couple of very pleasant hours understanding the influence of Chinese settlers on Phuket island Has some interesting displays and overall worth the 200 baht entrance fee

It was lovely to wander through this old mansion, once a school. Exhibits were comprehensive and all were translated into English. Cost of 200Baht is worth it. Although we didn't go inside the attached cafe, it looked very good.

The building is distinguished looking, rather grand and has lovely architecture. It once served as a Chinese school. Nothing much to see in this museum and the artifacts are pretty ordinary. The building is a respite from the hot weather outside though.

the hotel is locted in the old town of phuket, and it explains the history of chinese immigrants in Phuket, intersting for everyone, but if you are Chinese, it is a must visit place.

The museum gives a very good history in a series of well documented displays throughout the former school house of the migration of various Chinese language groups to Phuket and their eventual integration into mainstream Phuket -- and Thailand -- society. Given the Chinese were...More

If you have some extra time in Phuket Town and couldn't find anything to do, it would be a nice place to visit. Sadly, some of the interactive audio visual stuff were not function. But still, a nice place to just read about heritage and...More
