Unique way to enjoy hoseback riding and discover Lajares

Gemma and her mom are so welcoming and extremely experienced. They have lived here for about 14yrs, know the area and have a good eye for finding you a horse that will match your personality. My experience? It was a bit of horse therapy, amusement park and salsa dance all at once ;) Ask for Bam and you'll understand! And all the other horses are also very educated and great to be around.

Been coming to fuerteventura for 13 years, I have my own yard in the uk although dont ride much.
Gemma was the perfect host, full of passion for her horses, her teaching and devotion to her horses, although I didnt get the chance to meet mum I had a wonderful time over a three day booking. Had a informative dressage lesson on the wonderful ronnie followed by a jumping lesson, riverbed ride and a lunge lesson, what a great passionate lady. Makes understanding riding like painting by numbers, a true skill and a great yard x

Sadly they never returned our email...
We have horses in the uk and this always love the chance to go riding . We emailed these guys a month or so before we were due to travel and... Heard nothing !

At all.

So I guess that is our review ... Not a great service!

Dear Phil H. I,m so sorry that this appears to have upset you. We always try our hardest to provide the best experience and service to both our clients and our horses! We have ,of course re checked all of our email records to see where we may have slipped up so we could reply personally and improve on where we went wrong, but sadly we can find no trace of any emails that have not been responded to. I can only offer our apologies if it has been an oversight on our behalf. Best wishes Gina at los pinos verdes lajares

were on holiday in Lajares in March 2014 & were overjoyed to find a leaflet for Los Pinos Verdes in our villa, we certainly didn't expect to be riding in Fuerteventura! We found the booking easy & Both Gemma & Gina are easygoing lovely ladies. My sister, 10yr old niece & myself arrived for our hack having already arranged to go for a gallop on a dry riverbed. Firstly we said hello to all the beautiful horses, Soon we were tacked up & ready to go.....The ladies matched us perfectly to the right horse. My horse "Bolero" was a perfect gentleman. Gemma was completely honest about how they would all be on the gallop & it turned out to be a lovely, exciting, experience, even though my sister & I promptly got overtaken by my 10yr old niece on little Maria!! :)
We will definitely be revisiting the stables when we return next year.
Thankyou for the experience ladies. :)

I found the stables one day by accident a year ago and I'm so glad I did because Gina and Gemma are outstanding riders and learning from them has been an outstanding experience for me. The best thing about them is they truly love what they do and it shows in the love and care they breathe into all the animals on the yard and how they share their horse knowledge with us.

There are horses for all levels so it doesn't matter how little or how much experience you have in the saddle, there is an ideal horse for you. The hacks are beautiful and the view of Lajares is completely different on horseback. I would DEFINITELY recommend Los Pinos Verdes to anyone who is completely horse mad and to those who are taking their first steps. Always the highlight of my week...

Fantastic, top tuition!

Gina & Gemma's instruction is by far the best I've ever come across and they are both incredibly talented horse women ....also such lovely friendly people. I have learnt more in the few lessons I have had here than in all the lessons I've ever had back in the UK, Gina has even given me feeding advice and schooling advice (homework) for my horse back home. The horses are talented and in fantastic condition, shiny coated & happy, you can tell they how well loved they are. Gina & Gemma know every little thing about their quirks and personalities and will happily give a guided tour telling you about each and every horse. Really is a fantastic establishment, cannot recommend enough I have been two years running and cannot wait to return.

December 2013 I enjoyed A very instructive private dressage lesson on their beautiful Andalucian stallion followed by a 2 hr great hack outdoors with a exiting fast ride through a dry riverbed. Gina en Gemma are very professional, take excellent care their of their horses and are great people to enjoy horseriding with. I tried another riding stable on Fuerteventura the day before; that was a dissapointing experience.
Los Pinos Verdes is the real deal! I can fully recommend them to both experienced and beginning riders.

Fantastic experience from the initial contact through Facebook and landing on the island a few months later. Gina and Gemma could not have me feel more welcome. The stables are situated in a fabulous location with refreshments and plenty to see. The horses (especially Honroso) are just beautiful and schooled to perfection and made a lovely change from my happy hackers at home. Gina was so patient and understanding when teaching me and will be there again this year.

a fantastic time had by all
May 2014 • Friends
we booked the hours excursion for novice riders, although 2 of our group were experienced riders,3 were not!we had the option of splitting up and 2 of us doing the more lively gallop ride or all 5 riding together at a more sedate pace!we chose to all ride together and our guide, gemma was so much fun,so experienced, friendly, chatty and full of local knowledge,it would be hard not to enjoy every minute! although gem did tailor the ride to the less experienced riders, and we all really appreciated the brief trot round the arena to check our level and if we were getting on with our horse before we left for the ride,,also the attention to safety, the guide wore a hi viz jacket,we all had a pre ride chat as to what to expect ect..hats off to gem..although she made us all wear them!!the horses were totally wonderful,i,m an experienced rider, having my own horse, and i was overwhelmed at the level of training and love that these guys have for their horses,it was just such an enjoyable experience for all of us,watching the goat herd come by us thro the mountain was unforgettable!
i would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to ride whilst on holiday in fuertevenura!
