What a great informative day. If you like English history this is a place you should see. Had lunch as we were in a group and the ham and salad was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

The museum offers a range of fascinating artefacts dating from the stone ages through to more recent eras. It is primarily European in focus, but does have Asian and Middle Eastern displays as well. Exhibits are well presented and the artefacts are clearly explained. Well...More

The little museum provides a good history lesson with some interesting artifacts. It’s worth a drop in for a couple of hours.

My family and I attended a Christmas market here two weeks ago, due to lots of rain we went into the museum and so very glad we did.Its very very interesting and a must for a school outing

Interesting setting and the singing was top-class. Parking could have been better sign-posted, but we managed to find our way back to our car with the aid of a mobile phone.
